Personal Thoughts:

There is a lot of character development, because the characters start out not knowing much about the Lightraider Order, and how to fight (spiritual warfare, and God) at the beginning and learn a lot of lessons through the story.

This is a fun, light read with a lot of depths. I love books with fantasy elements and Spiritual Warfare, but they can be hard to find. The Wolf Solider is slightly similar to The Prince Warriors but there are lots of differences, for one Wolf Solider is set in a fantasy, medieval world, where as The Prince Warriors series is in set in the modern world and they are transported back and forth.

There were tons of plot twists in this, some of which I guessed and others I didn’t. The ending is a bit sad, but also inspiring.

I was able to understand what was going on with ease, even with the fantasy elements. The characters did have an accent, and they used different words for things (example: he calls his parents, Mehma, and Tehpa). It took me a minute to get through that, but I also love how it changes how the characters sound in my head when I read it.

There is no language. I think that there will be romance in the rest of the series, between Conor and Teegan, but in this one it was more like they both liked each other, but that was it. (no handholding or kissing).

It is a Christian allegory, and while there are less mentions of the Armor of God and more about fighting with Scripture.

I realized recently that I really enjoy fictional books about Spiritual Warfare (albeit only very light ones, I haven’t read or watched the Left Behind mostly because I highly doubt I could stomach that). Sadly, I do struggle to find many books like this one. 🙂

I would recommend this series for 12+, and I give it a rating of 5 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐:)
