1 Timothy 4:12

“Million Dollar Dilemma”

Bailey, July 2, 2025August 21, 2025

Description:

“I’m a P.K., preacher’s kid (or if I want to get fancy, a T.O., theologian’s offspring). I grew up afraid of my own allowance….

So when over $20 million falls into her lap, Cassia Carr views her Midas touch as a cross, not a blessing–and certainly doesn’t anticipate the difficulty of giving it all away!

And it’s hard enough to gauge romantic feelings without the chaos of a major windfall. Her globetrotting neighbor, Adam Cavanaugh, seems interested–but in Cassia or her fortune? When Adam abruptly disappears, should Cassia forget him or follow her heart to an unknown, life-changing destination?”

Personal Thoughts:

The characters of this book are well written, and I related to Cassia so, so much. I both liked Adam, and was slightly annoyed by his actions, but in the end, everything was wrapped up nicely, and he had great character development.

The writing style was so fun! The author has a brilliant way with words, though I did struggle to understand what was happening because of the wording at times. Overall, it is extremely well written. It definitely holds your attention, and there were parts where I was laughing and then yelling at the characters. (Cassia’s sister Jane is frustrating at times, but she means well!)

The book is extremely clean, and I like how the author focused on missions, and children in need, while also being hilarious.

There is no language in the book. There is some light kissing, and a main theme in the book is her falling in love and trying to pick the right guy.

4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐, and the age rating would be 15 and up.
